The film *"Never Without My Daughter"* tells the story of Farhad—an Iranian man who lost his wife in a car accident in Los Angeles eight years ago. Now, he lives alone with his teenage daughter, Maryam. Maryam, 15, is a kind, intelligent, and lovable girl.
Farhad was once a passionate singer who performed in many concerts alongside his wife. But after her death, he fell into a deep depression and put down his guitar for good. Since then, his only purpose in life has been Maryam’s future.
But one night, everything changes. When Farhad returns home, he is confronted by a horrifying nightmare: Maryam has vanished. It soon becomes clear that a criminal gang has kidnapped her—along with other girls—to be smuggled out of the country for the horrific business of Sex trafficking.
Faced with this tragedy, Farhad has only one choice: to rescue his daughter, at any cost. He sets out on a dark and dangerous path—one that may ultimately cost him his life. But he is a father—and nothing, not even death, can stop him from saving Maryam.

The man picks her up and drives her to where she wants to go. But just minutes after dropping her off, he sees the same woman again—standing in the exact same spot, waiting once more for a ride.
It is at this moment that the man realizes a disturbing truth: he is trapped in a time loop—a cycle that keeps repeating itself, always resetting everything back to the beginning. The woman remembers nothing and believes she is meeting the man for the first time, while he knows this has happened many times before and struggles to understand what’s happening.
At first, he thinks it’s a joke or a hallucination, but as the loop repeats again and again, he begins to believe that time itself has paused—and keeps rewinding to the same moment.
As the story of Cold Road unfolds and other characters gradually enter the narrative, the film becomes deeper and more layered, painting a haunting world full of mystery, anxiety, and unanswered questions.
